Eike Zuleeg

Eike Zuleeg has started his cinematic career during his fulltime studies of mediadesign at the University of Applied Science in Mainz from 1997 – 03. While working in parallel as a camera assistant and electrician he photographed various student short films and documentaries.

In his aim to advance his professional skills he applied for a masterclass in cinematography under the guidance of Karl Walter Lindenlaub at the Hamburg Media School in 2004 and was selected. Studies consisted of extensive seminars by Robby Müller, Slawomir Idziak, Jürgen Jürges, Wedigo von Schultzendorff and Martin Furrer. He finished studies in 2006 with the short film Memoryeffect, which won several prizes, among others the Shocking Shorts Award 2007.

Currently he is operating as a freelance Director of Photography, including various commercials, featurefilm (2nd unit), music videos and documentaries.
